Dr. Monisha George, PT, DPT, CSCS

Physical Therapist

Monisha George is a New York State Licensed Physical Therapist who received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2018. Monisha has worked in a variety of orthopedic settings and has a vast skill set in providing manual therapy and prescribing exercise for orthopedic conditions of all age groups and backgrounds. Her areas of special interest include geriatrics, neurology, and women’s health.

Monisha strongly believes in the “biopsychosocial” approach to treating patients, in which therapy goes well beyond following a constructed treatment protocol.  In her past experiences, she has found that the greatest progress among patients has also come from targeting and adapting lifestyle choices that better promote healing and enhanced physiology of the body. She examines patients with a more holistic approach. In her free time, Monisha loves traveling, cooking (and eating), and partaking in yoga classes. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, and thrives on making people happy.
